Besides the memorable accounts of Howard Storm, Beverly Brodsky, Christian Andréason, and others spotlighted by Kevin Williams at his www.near-death.com site, there are other anonymous and unknown accounts that have touched me just as deeply over the years as I read them. I share some of these here with you. I hope this list will grow and the links will not fade too quickly.
- "I was aware that humans judge the actions of others, but that judgment is a kind of human folly."
- A rescue from the pit like Howard Storm's or The Book of Mormon Alma's
- "We live our lives for just a few special moments and the rest is really filler."
- "Read it slowly and place yourself in my place as I lead you into my story."
- "Even though I knew where different people were, and that they took my son down the hall and to the left to work on him, the doctor said, 'It was just a dream possibly due to lack of oxygen.'"
- "I also know for certain that a wonderful being is out there that said I'm not ready 'yet' which to me implies that one day I will be and that gets me through this life pretty well."
- The next thing I remember was that to my left a deep black valley seemed to appear and also that the woman in the bed next to me appeared beside me. She was elderly.... I tried to follow but was held back at the boundary to the valley.
- Touching the river gave me insight into realms beyond realms, universes beyond universes, dimensions beyond dimensions; I experienced infinity."
- "Even if the only thing I do in my life (that positively affects the future) is to smile at a stranger who was going to do something negative but decides against it, then my life made a difference."
- "I saw and heard the conversations between my husband and the doctors taking place outside my room, about 40 feet away and down a hallway. I was later able to verify this conversation to my shocked husband." " I realized what a gift life is and that I was surrounded by loving spiritual beings who were always around me even when I did not know it."
- "I KNEW what I was experiencing. It was clear."
