Gum disease reversal bone regrowth
After my gum disease had receded a while, I noticed unsightly growths
around the roots of my teeth. After a bit of research, I concluded the
growths were probably bone regrowth as part of the healing of my gum
disease. Today I made a short video showing the regrowth. It's not
the highest quality video ever made, but hopefully you can make out the
regrowth, at least on the upper right teeth.
I'm visiting a new dentist tomorrow for the first time in 12 months. Fingers crossed for only one 5mm deep pocket or better!
Hi tom -- did jaw bones regrow just by stopping gum disease? or did you do anything else to stimulate bone regrowth? For example, calcium supplements, collagen, mineral intake etc...
I did nothing "special". My diet has become progressively more natural and colorful as I have aged. But I don't know when these growths appeared. I will have to ask my dentist about them this week when I go.
Thanks for the quick reply. Did you lose upper jaw bone when you had periodontal pockets of only 7mm? I lost significant jaw bone to to a loose tooth that's infected and missing half a root. The doctor recommends I extract. I'm hoping they will grow back if they can deep clean a loose tooth.
Spammers, don't waste your time. If you need honorable work, let's brainstorm. Do you see any spam comments here? No. That's because you won't get through. I personally review every comment.

ReplyDeleteMike, I don't know the answer to your question, unfortunately.
