Second clean dentist visit: my gum disease is cured!

I visited the dentist for my semi-annual checkup and cleaning a week ago.  He charged me only for a regular cleaning, not a periodontal cleaning, and he said my gums looked great!  My routine for the past two years has simply been to swish vigorously with water after every snack and meal and to clean my teeth with sonic brush and waterpik (classic jet or pocket tip) and occasionally a germicide before every nightly fast.  See my posts about gum disease for more details.

    Starting tonight! Thank you for the hope of curing gum disease! I will know more of what I'm dealing with next week. But I'm still going to start tonight!

    Tomorrow marks 1 wek of water irrigating with a waterpik and my gums already look pinker...and teeth so clean. Dentist tomorrow!
